Dr. Pool graduated dental school in May 2009 from the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) in Kansas City, MO. Before purchasing this practice in 2017, she worked in 2 different dental offices as an associate dentist. She worked for five years in Manhattan, KS and three years in Lafayette, CO. She gained a lot of experience working with different office models and patient populations.
Dr. Pool enjoys providing quality dental treatment to the whole family. She stresses preventative dentistry and takes time to talk with patients about any questions they may have regarding the health of their mouth. Dr. Pool finds satisfaction when she can get a patient back on track with their dental care after they have either had a bad dental experience in the past, or if it has been several years since their last dental appointment. Dr. Pool’s chair side presence helps to put patients at ease. Her demeanor is patient and gentle, which carries over into her dental treatment. Dr. Pool strives to listen to her patient’s concerns and then develops an individual treatment plan that will provide them with a healthy mouth.
Dr. Pool maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Colorado Springs Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and local dental study groups. She understands dentistry is constantly evolving and she must continue her education by taking a variety of courses to give patients the best care.
Dr. Pool participates in providing care to those needing dental treatment through Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM). This dental office has a long held tradition to take care of the Carmelite Monastery of the Sacred Hearts Nuns and Servants of the Holy Family Priests. When Dr. Pool bought this practice she wholeheartedly agreed to continue the tradition of providing for their dental care.
Dr. Pool has been happily married to her high school sweetheart, Josh, for over 15 years. They are the proud parents to 3 beautiful daughters. Outside of the office Dr. Pool enjoys spending the majority of her time with her family, and makes it a priority. Her kids are active in sports throughout the year, so she can be found on the sidelines cheering for them and carpooling them to and from activities. She also enjoys baking, reading, photography, and exploring Colorado.
